History

The first paper sacks has been produced in 1917 under direction of "Ratinger Papierfabrik".
The private company "Papersackfabrik Tenax - branch of the Ratinger Papierfabrik" has been official founded in 1948.

Since October 1998, the company has been trading as Papiersackfabrik Tenax GmbH & Co. KG.

The company has always been owned by the family "Earl of Spee".

Continuous investment in new production equipment have made the Papiersackfabrik Tenax to one of the most advanced paper sack factories world-wide.

The traditional entrepreneurship of the family Earl of Spee combined with the openness to new technologies and a high sense of responsibility for their employees are a solid basis for future success.
